BIO
Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Jorge Morales Picó is a graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Theatre and a minor in Music Theory from NYU’s Steinhardt. With a passion for audio visual storytelling, he has designed and engineered experiences for dance and theater that have graced stages all around the US as well as internationally in places such as London, Germany, France, China, and Taiwan.
Throughout his career, Jorge has had the privilege of collaborating with a diverse spectrum of artists spanning multiple creative disciplines. Notable luminaries in his repertoire include the esteemed Guggenheim Fellow, Meredith Monk, and the renowned choreographer, Annie B Parsons. He has also crossed artistic boundaries to collaborate with talents like Korean kumongo composer Jin Hi Min and others, leaving an indelible impact on their collaborative endeavors.
Recently, he has ventured into the world of podcasting, where his work has resonated with millions of global listeners. Within his role at Betches Media, he has ventured into an extensive array of genres, encompassing themes as diverse as dating, true crime, pop culture, mental health, and comedy, solidifying his commitment to engaging and connecting with audiences worldwide.
